The Cruising Project is a video project of toilets, desire, and loss. It’s about how the spaces we live in create the conditions for desire, how an era of mass death haunts homosexuality, and how I discovered my sexuality in a (bath)room of my own.
The first iteration of the project was commissioned by Zanetti Productions (NZ) for an upcoming digital Queer Arts Platform. In 2025, The Cruising Project will be presented as a physical installation at Auckland Pride (NZ), where the work will be projected onto the walls of public toilets around the city.
